My #1 super power for the holidays
𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 …
to the beginning of this year. All the positive thoughts and feelings exiting out of the most interesting year many of us have endured.
Think back to the goals you set.
And now it’s December….
If you’re not one to set resolutions, then this is for you.
This is NOT about watching what you eat or drink.
This is NOT about how much exercise you should be doing...
This is about starting to create success for every day not just the holidays.
So, in the spirit of now is as good a time as any, it’s baby steps forward!
I’ve written in the past about 1° degree changes that when added up, can make a big difference.
Why not set yourself up for some daily consistency BEFORE the holidays start.
Today is all about 𝘉𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴.
How to begin and end your day are so important.
The 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴 are all the things, may they be rituals or habits, that prepare you for the beginning and the end of your day. Tiny little habits you no longer have to think about.
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘯𝘥
This is the opening chapter. It sets the scene for what’s coming.
A morning 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘯𝘥 creates intention.
My morning 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘯𝘥 focuses on water, fuel, organization and movement. Usually in that order.
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘯𝘥
This is the end of the story. It’s the conclusion to a great read.
My evening 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘯𝘥 brings closure.
It focuses on a preset pattern that I try very hard not to default from. Winding down with NO PHONE around the same time every evening, reading and lights out. If you’ve ever started a conversation with me, you know I’ll go dark between 9 and 9:30pm.
A consistent good night sleep then sets you up for success the next morning to do it all over again.
What do the 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴 of your day look like?
Take this opportunity to write out your morning and evening routines. Maybe there is room to make small adjustments to bring you more restful sleep, an easier start to your day or maybe even a new found way to add new routines for your physical and mental health.

Antifragile is my post Covid mantra…
I am beyond robust and resilient.
My newest reads and rabbit holes have taken me beyond resilience to the concept of 𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘭𝘦.
It's based off of my latest readings...Nassim Nicholas Taleb’s made up, created word, is about being MORE than robust and resilient.
I am a creature of habit. If you’ve been following along, you know I like to create habits for success so I can be ready for life’s adventure.
But Covid has taught me that the unknown, the disorder, the waiting, the changing landscape….is an opportunity to 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰, and 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 , not just survive.
I am beyond resilient.
That’s the difference.
It means that something does not merely withstand a shock 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘵.
• Things, people, and organizations that break when they come under stress we call ‘fragile’
• Things, people, and organizations that do not break under stress we call ‘strong’, ‘robust’, or ‘resilient’
• Things, people, and organizations that actually become stronger under stress. Let’s call, “anti-fragile”
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦; 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳.
Are you just surviving?
How are you building up to take what comes at you?
Need to bend an ear, let me know.
PIVOT & TURN
A lot has happened over the past year. Like many service providers, in-person JOGA work essentially dried up and my business became virtual with all its technological warts and worries.
