Advance your athletic performance and learn to self-assess your own movement patterns. Using the JOGA system, I work with you to create stable and functional range of movements designed for you and your athletic needs. The work can range from stability and mobility work to active recovery sessions.
Stretching and flexibility work without stability and balance work can be a disaster in the making, so athletes need to be aware of what type of programming they are signing up for. Often when an athlete talks about being tight, it can be a result of compensatory movements or dysfunctional movement patterns. Athletes need to create a certain amount of stability in their joints, so we keep athletes stable and connected so they do not overstretch and damage the very ligaments and structures they need for their sport. Asymmetries in the body can hinder performance so working to create balance in the body is key.
