I love September.
Did you know that September is the second most popular time for goal setting and resolution making next to January?
It's a scheduled new beginning.
As students heading back to school, it is about new adventures, new courses, an opportunity to learn new things.
As teachers it is an opportunity to start again, start over, do it again and see continuous improvement.
As a coach, September is a time for new opponents, new teammates, and new goals.
As athletes, it is another re-start to the new season, rematches, and redemption from seasons past.
As a mother it means resetting routines, getting back on track and new goals.
Do you see a pattern?
New adventure. New courses. Learn new things. Start again. Start over. Do it again. Be better. New opponents. New teammates. New goals. Restart. Rematch. Redemption. Resetting routines. Getting back on track. New goals.
So exciting! But does any of this relate to you and your life?
It’s almost like once we leave the confines of the class room, our need for learning stops. Once we enter the work force, the focus is on professional development and the personal learning and growth takes a backseat.
Have we forgotten how to be learners for our own selves? Have we forgotten what it’s like to once again set a goal? Have we forgotten how to be improvement seekers in our own life?

People add on more responsibilities to their lives and think that stress does not affect them. People think what they think. Maybe its time to stop listening to what other people think and take a look at why our program is so successful. I will give you a clue... Because commitment to your own health is a lifestyle. Its about habits. It's about choices. 90 days, just give me 90 days.
