Just Move!

The way we move is a reflection of how we live. 
We were made to move! We were made to walk and run and be living human beings, not sit at a desk all day long like robots.
Just by sitting for one hour your risk of heart disease, poor circulation and joint pain increases.

Why do we need to move?
Here's just a sampling of reasons:
  • Incorporating a stretch routine helps keep muscles flexible and lean.
  • A regular exercise routine can lower inflammation. Chronic illness stems from inflammation and is the root cause of chronic illnesses such as autoimmune diseases and heart disease.
  • A strength training program not only helps strengthen your muscles but it also keeps your bones strong which can help prevent osteoporosis as you age.
  • Strength training is essential for your daily activities such as carrying, lifting, and bending. 
  • Strength training helps build muscle to help you maintain a healthy metabolism.
  • And strength can be built without lifting a weight.

  • Studies have shown that exercise can be a more effective anti-depressant for those of you experiencing moderate depression.
